Venus and Mercury Sinking

Low in the western sky right after sunset

Brighter Venus, to the right, and dimmer Mercury a bit down and to the left.

Venus is ‘falling’ fast and will be level with Mercury around the 13th. They will be in conjunction with the Sun about 10 days later.
